Starting Fresh

Today is September 3, 2018........I was reading the books of my blogs that I had printed years ago and I decided I need to commit to doing this again.  Today is Labor day, so let's hope I can follow through with this labor of words for one year - let's start there.

So my sister texted to see how things were going and she said Dad was almost hit by a car.  Dad, 82, still rides his bicycle, which is awesome!  However, he was riding on a main road (route 68).  I told her we need to give him a perimeter of where he can ride, and that does not include route 68.  We kind of laughed at that.  Apparently he didn't almost get hit - not a super close call, but a motorcycle guy yelled at the car and followed Dad until he turned off on a side road - my dad.
